The cornerstone of OVI services is our commitment to advancing the state of the art of Carbon Pigment Ink Printing. OVI has developed a true six-ink (Hextone) system utilizing hand mixed inks, modified large-format Epson printers, and dedicated software which produces gorgeous continuous tone prints.

While certainly no single print making method is suited to everyone's work or tastes, in expert hands these Hextone carbon inks prints on cotton rag paper can stand shoulder to shoulder with any black and white printing process. They are truly archival and have a tonal range, sharpness, luminosity and tactile quality unto their own that is both sumptuous and subtle.
